Domestic Violence Services

Domestic Violence Informational School

Quality Behavioral Health’s Domestic Violence Informational School (DVIS) is offered in two sessions, typically falling on the first and second Saturdays of each month (depending on holidays) from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Those referred need to understand that there is a non-refundable fee of $125.00 for the course that must be paid to Quality Behavioral Health, in full, no later than the Friday prior to the week of the group, by 5 p.m. to be included in the course and that we must have a minimum of 5 pre-paid participants by that date for the group to be held. Otherwise, all referrals will be contacted and their information and fees will be held over until the following month’s group.

Participants must complete both sessions to earn a Certificate of Completion. Please note that men and women will be offered the same curriculum but, in the interest of therapeutic processing, will be taught in separate groups of five or more.

Domestic Violence Assessment Program

Quality Behavioral Health Domestic Violence assessments are offered by referral for a fee of $150.00 which must be paid in cash and in advance of any services being rendered.

The assessments will be scheduled on Fridays between the hours of 8:30 – 11 a.m. This process includes an initial appointment to complete the written portion of the assessment and a second appointment for a client interview. A written report will then be sent to the courts identifying assessed level of risk, treatment recommendations and projected prognosis, as well as any additional areas of relevance uncovered during the assessment process.

In addition, the participants will be sent a letter summarizing the report for their records. All documentation will be submitted to the courts no later than one week following the completion of the interview process.
